What Are the Different Types of Hair Extensions?

Keratin Individuals
Keratin extensions, also known as Fusion, UTip, or FlatTip extensions, are individual strands that are attached to your real hair through the use of a heating tool. The heat bonds the keratin to your hair, giving you a natural look. The application takes approximately three hours, and should last for 10 to 12 weeks.
Tape-In Extensions
Tape-in extensions are usually 1.5 to 3 inches in width, and are a great choice for anyone with fine or fragile hair. They are applied as weft hair, meaning we cut the extensions to fit your head. The application takes about two hours and should last approximately four to six weeks.
Beaded/Weft and Braided Sew-Ins
Beaded and braided sew-ins are two of our most popular extension choices. For a beaded sew-in, your natural hair is anchored with heads and wefted hair is sewn into your hair. This takes about two hours and should last approximately four to six weeks.
For a braided sew-in, we sew in partial extensions, leaving a portion of your natural hair exposed. You can choose any length of extensions you want, giving you the style you desire. The application takes approximately three hours, and the extensions should last four to six weeks.
Clip-In Extensions
Clip-in extensions are the perfect choice for a special day, such as a wedding, photo session, or graduation. You may want to add some volume or length to your hair, and we can apply clip-ins in approximately 30 minutes. They should last all day once they’re applied!
