Deposit
Hermosa Hair™ will require a $50 deposit for all new clients to secure your appointment. Which will be applied to your service. If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment(s), please notify us 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% late cancellation fee. For a “no show”, your credit card will automatically be charged 100% of services and a deposit will be required on all future appointments.
Confirmation Notifications
As a courtesy, our scheduling system will also send out an email or text (SMS) reminder of your appointment at least one day prior to your appointment. If we or our scheduling system are unable to call or reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and potential cancellation fees.
Arrival
If you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule. Your technician will do his/her best to accommodate you. In order to ensure the best service and experience, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Walk-Ins
We welcome walk-in guests! However, if availability is limited, you may have a waiting period or need to schedule an appointment.
Consultation
During your consultation, One of our salon experts will explain the pros and cons to all the methods we provide, what the proper maintenance is and the upkeep. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision on which method you decide to use. By signing this waiver you are agreeing that Hermosa Hair Extensions™, LLC explained the process, maintenance, and upkeep and that you agree and understand. You also understand that there can be some discomfort that comes with extensions.
Child Safety Policy
We love children, and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in the salon. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation and salon experience of our guests. Children are only permitted in the salon or spa area when having a service. for safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
Jewelry & Personal Items
We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing, jewelry, phones, and accessories. We are not responsible for any hair left at the salon. We don’t have the space to store hair that is purchased. You are responsible for taking your hair home with you and bringing it with you to your appointments.
Forms of Payment
We reserve the right to change prices and services at any time without notification. We accept All major credit cards, Hermosa Hair Gift Cards/Certificates, and cash. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks. Third party payments must be paid in advance.
Gratuities
Gratuity (tipping) is up to the discretion of each client. The industry average is $15%-20% of the service total prior to discounts or incentive offers. Our team greatly appreciates your generosity!
Gift Cards / Gift Certificates
Gift cards and gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable, but they are transferable.
Returns
Retail products may be returned or exchanged with an original receipt and original packaging within 14 days. We do not offer or apply credit toward services for returned merchandise. There are no refunds on services however if you are unhappy with your service please ask for the manager on duty.
Hair
Hair must be purchased in advance. There will be no refunds on hair that has been opened. Hair still in its original package can be returned for salon credit. Hermosa Hair™ is not responsible for hair color or texture chosen by the client. You must check the hair prior to opening as opened hair is not refundable or returnable. We are not responsible for hair purchased, in or outside our salon that is not our brand. I understand that Hermosa Hair does offer as a courtesy to purchase hair from outside vendors of Hermosa Hair Extension™ Bars' choice. I understand that it is my responsibility to ask what their return policy is and that there is likely a 15% restocking fee on unopened hair returned/exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Services do not include the price of the hair. We ask that you come in with your natural hair washed and dried. We do offer Shampoo and Blow Dry for an additional charge of $30.
It is policy that we do not work over other people’s work. If you did not get your hair done at Hermosa Hair we will do a complete removal but we will not perform any fixes, additions, or tighten ups.
Disclaimer: if we do not have hair in stock, we do offer as a courtesy, to order from one of our local trusted vendors. You are subject to their cost, shipping, and return policy.
Re-do
Redo’s will consist of one of the following: • Replacing pieces that came loose (must bring hair) • Tacking down corners • Replace slipped beads (within 7 days) • Haircuts must be checked before leaving your appointment
Here at Hermosa Hair™, we work together as a team and we all have been trained the same, on Hermosa Hair Extension™ installation methods. If you have a favorite stylist, you must let the receptionist know (at the time of scheduling) who you’d like to be scheduled with. It is not automatic that you will be scheduled with the stylist you had last.
At Hermosa Hair™ it is our goal to exceed your customer service expectations. Make sure to check your hair before you leave. If for some reason you are not satisfied please address these concerns with your stylist and/or manager on duty.
Hermosa Hair™ is not responsible for sensitive scalp, abrasions, thinning, breakage, or balding due to extension applications.
Color/Chemical Services
I understand that chemical treatments have different effects on different hair types and colors. I agree to hold the salon and the hair technician harmless in the event of unexpected or undesired results. I understand that any further alterations or corrections will be provided at my own expense. I have had the process and possible results adequately explained to me. I understand that previous treatments and chemical services can continue to have an effect on my hair. It has been recommended to me that I fully disclose my previous treatments to my stylist prior to the treatment. I understand that my stylist is a certified technician who will try his or her best to create my desired results. I also understand that coloring extension hair is never guaranteed. I understand that if the extension hair is lighter than Natural Dark Brown it has probably been colored and any additional chemical process may cause more damage to the hair and/or shorten the lifespan of the hair. I understand that if I choose to alter the hair color in any way I am doing so at my own discretion and there will not be any refunds on the hair.
